Folder sync programs

Hello,

I have two servers that I cannot add to my domain because of the type of data I need to store on them.  The primary server will have IIS, SQL, and data folders (containing the restricted data documents).  Server B will be 100% identical.

The question I have for the experts is this: since I cannot use a domain for this, how can I sync the data folders efficiently.  Are there any third party programs out there that can do this, if so, are there any recommendations?

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Benjamin,

Thank you for your comment, but I don't have the option to create VHD's for this solution.  I simply need to copy folder/files from A to B.

You can use DFS replication group to replicate data between these two servers. Follow the steps given in the article to replicate data.

Hi Rakesh,

Thank you for your comment; however I cannot use AD services for this solution.

In that case you can use the tools like synctoy or allwaysync.  Hope it helps.
