Compatibility view mode in internet explorer

We are performing an upgrade for a web application that used to run only in 'compatibility view' mode. We have moved it to bootstrap, BUT one of the pages only works in compatibility view mode.

So we have an entire application that needs to run without compatibility view mode and ONE page which is critical that only works IN compatibility view mode.

Is there a way to open a page on a new tab or window and have that ONE page run in compatibility view mode ?  This way users can work seamlessly without having to switch on and off, because if they turn it on the whole Bootstrap framework becomes unusable.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. You can assign compatibility view mode to a hotkey using the following guide. might at least save you some time.

I understand this part. I am trying to find a way to instead of adding a full domain to the list have one page using compatibility mode.

Please read the compatibility matrix for bootstrap: http://getbootstrap.com/getting-started/#support as compatibility mode isn't supported: http://getbootstrap.com/getting-started/#support-ie-compatibility-modes

Running IE in compatibility mode, essentially is running IE7 to my knowledge

That is correct. I need the system to run ALL without compatibility view, but there is a part of it (forms) that only work in compatibility view mode  :#  ... I think using a subdomain main work best.
