I am running an ADFS server on-premise to give SSO to our O365 accounts. However, it seems to not be syncing any longer. In the event viewer and in services, I noticed that the Forefront Identity Manager Sync Service was failing with an error 1006 "The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid." and that my miiserver..exe.config file reads 0 KB.
Any thoughts on how I can rectify this? I have a new employee starting immediately that needs our O365 apps.
