Sup2 lldp support

I work for a small nonprofit and I run into an issue integrating our new SIP phone system with our Cisco Catalyst 6509.  We have two Sup2 modules running s222_rp-ADVIPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(18)SXF15.  We are not using Cisco phones we need lldp support on our switch so our phones connect to the right VLAN.  Since we are a small company we cannot afford a support contract with Cisco.  I have been unable to find an IOS image for the Sup2 that supports lldp.  Can someone verify if an image exists or not?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

LLDP features are available in the 15, train as well as selected 12.2SX,
SXJ, SXI, and SXH trains. For instance,

12.2(33)SXJ7, 12.2(33)SXJ6, 12.2(33)SXJ5,....12.2(33)SXJ1

The feature verified was LLDP inline power negotiation for POE+

So yes it exists, in newer code releases. Your release is older.

Thanks for the reply.

When I looked up those images using Cisco Feature Navigator, they only show available for the Sup32 or the Sup720.  Is this a Feature Navigator issue or does the Sup2 stop at 12.2(18)?
I missed that you have a Sup2, Sup2 is EOS/EOL is there is no additional software support from Cisco. You may be out of luck there.

Just verified that the SUP2 does not support any of the IOS trains that have the lldp feature, Sup2 supports the SXF and SXD 12.2 trains,
so you are correct and its not a feature navigator issue.
