Exchange Server 2010 - Forwarding email from one account to another

Hi,

I create in Exchange 2010 two accounts. One calls info@schooleconomics.com another account is  john.smith@schooleconomics.com.

I want to forward all emails received from info@schooleconomics.com  to john.smith@schooleconomics.com.

How i do that in Exchange 2010?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would like to use the graphic interface is it possible?

Pretty easy...
- open the EMC
- find the account for info, select properties
- click the Mail Flow Tab
- click delivery options
- check forward and store and select John's account

That's it.

You can also just check forward and not store and forward, which will not keep a copy in the info mailbox.

yes it is possible.

Go to EMC--> in recipient configuration -- click on mailbox --- then find info@schooleconomics.com -- open properties --- then click on mail flow settings --- then open properties of Delivery Options -- click on Forward to --- browse and search john.smith@schooleconomics.com mailbox and add it. then mark checkbox Deliver message on both.. if required.

i have now the info@... and create a group the calls Info@....

Now i want to make to that everytime someone sends an email to Info@....more 4 recepients will get too...how i do tha?b
Amit KumarCommented:
Please follow this article

In a simple way

Go to recipient configuration
Go to Distribution groups
Right click and then see new DL menu.
Click on New then create DL as per your requirement, but if you already have info@ mailbox with you then you won't be able to create same e-mail address as it must be unique.
So either delete existing mailbox if not required or you will have to choose another e-mail address like info1 or info-group.

Once it is created add members in it. For more details please follow mentioned article.

If you want multiple user's for forwarding what i suggest is create a distribution group add all of your users to this group, then setup the forwarding to the distribution group. From there you can just add/remove users from the distribution group as you go.

Will.
