I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

AutoIT can simulate a user to logon the program.
To ease creating the script, use the recorder

VBScript can also help.

Thanks NVIT, Can you give me further instruction in this program to complete a script that autofills the login fields for a windows based program?

I downloaded AU3Recorder from and it just locks up when I try to record anything.
NVITEnd-user supportCommented:
If you did the full install, it should be in either "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Extras\Au3Record" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Extras\Au3Record"

The install installs the SciTE editor, which has the record option under menu Tools, AU3Recorder

The link to the recorder you gave is a different one. I don't know about that one.

As for autoit's recorder, they removed the recorder from the latest install as it was being flagged as having a virus.
