Where can I configure the Symantec EndPoint Protection Manager such that workstations / servers will not automatically reboot after virus autoupdate ?

This is within the manager liveupdate settings.
Usually virus updates do not trigger reboots.
admin/policies.

1 Login to SEPM
2 Go to the Clients page
3 Select the group your server is in
4 Select the Policies tab at the top
5 Under Settings select General Settings
6 On the Restart Settings tab, what is set here? You may need to adjust this to fit your needs
