Notification if Exchange server rejects message

Good day,

I want to let our Exchange server notify us if it bounces a message due to size restrictions.

I have 2 Exchange 2013 servers having both DAG and CAS roles.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you can setup a transport rule that will do that, which is also another way of specifying message size limits

part of the actions you can set the action of the rule to notify an admin as well as the user

Also agree with a transport rule which can forward or CC/BCC you a copy of the message when it bounces back.

Will.
