IIS reverse proxy

Right so I've a reverse proxy in the DMZ, pointing to a application server on the LAN (also IIS)

When the user hits the proxy on external.domain.com I want it to proxy through to internal.domain.com/app/start

I've got the proxy up that will hit proxy through to the internal IIS page but not the sub directory, I've tried an redirect on the internal box so the default IIS page will redirect to teh /app/start but that causes error on the proxy.

Any one any ideas on this one?

The problem may be a missing rewrite rule. If the proxy is working OK but the links, styles or images are missing you will need to create an outbound url rewrite rule to rewrite the links otherwise they will be relative to your existing web application structure rather than the location of your proxy.
