Basic Regex for use in webservice

Hi all,

I am using taffy which is for building webservices in coldfusion. However accessing the webservice has to do done via:

/myapi/index.cfm/people
/myapi/index.cfm/homes

This doesn't feel very RESTful, and I would like people to be able to access via:

/myapi/people
/myapi/homes

So I think I need a rewrite rule to effectively replace "/myapi" with "/myapi/index.cfm" and then append the rest, would that make sense? Just have no idea how to write a rewrite rule (in my servlet mappings) to do that. How would the RE look? Any help appreciated.

You need a rule like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<configuration>
  <system.webServer>
    <rewrite>
      <rules>
        <rule name="myapi" stopProcessing="true">
          <match url="(.*)myapi/(.*)" />
          <action type="Rewrite" url="{R:1}/myapi/index.cfm/{R:2}" logRewrittenUrl="true" />
        </rule>
      </rules>
    </rewrite>
  </system.webServer>
</configuration>
