I migrated over to office 365 this year with no troubles apart from a few copiers not having the ability to use TLS to connect to 365 to scan to email.
I have exchange 2010 doing nothing on one server and was hoping to relay out to an account on 365 for the copiers... But it is becoming a pain
Anyone managed to do this?

Just to make sure your Exchange server (Hub Transport server) is natted with a public IP with opening inbound 25 (SMTP) port. You can allow only public IP in O365.

Yes, that's correct...

So your send connector should send e-mail to O365 then. Check your send connector should be marked as Smart host and DNS for Smart host will be O365 MX record which is for your domain.

This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

I may need to double check this tomorrow... I managed a successful connection to the server on port 25 but the message got lost and disappeared...
