The account will be in the domain partition which should look similar to your AD structure, why can't you add an account to the DL? What is the error?

We are trying to use the ADSI edit to remove the user because it is a secure DL and I understand if a disabled user is listed it will not allow you to add or remove the user.

It was a struggle but I finally found the location. Thanks for the help Myself and the Exchange Admin finally found it. This definitely does the trick. The DL is secure and the owner was disabled as he is gone. This keeps you from editing the DL. Once the guys name is removed you can then edit the group or mailbox. Only disabled users cause this.

We have a user I am trying to add to a secure DL so they can send to the DL but we do not know the path to be able to delete and old user who is no longer here. This user being in this DL is keeping us from adding another user. We need to get rid if the user and using ADSIEdit but we are looking for full path in there to know where to go to remove the user?
