gpo query

Hello Team,

I completed all testing to push a GPO and link to a test OU. The GPO works well, now, I would like to apply this policy to all users in my domain. My environment is, a single domain in a single forest, multiple sites, multiple DCs, Windows 2008 R2 forest and domain fuctional level.

My concern is that in the past I linked a gpo to a domain, and some users did not pick up the policy. what is most effective to apply the new GPO, link to a domain or by site and apply to all sites? By the way this is a user GPO, see links below for more information

Any way to prevent issues?

see below steps applied for my gpo testing

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The best way to apply GPO's is directly to the OU. The OU is the last place where the policy will be applied so if there are any issues with Group Policy Processing OU will win. Apply the GPO to All of the Top Level OU's where you have your users.
