One of the users is complaining
My mailbox is filling up VERY quickly.
Everything from my deleted folder has been deleted. I only have emails in my inbox from this week and only have sent email from this week, I have archived everything else.
size of all emails has 30MB worth of data, but it’s showing 490MB worth of data is filled
I am using outlook 2010
can you help find the cause

Get-MailboxStatistics -Identity Kamboj Shelly
parameter cannot be found that accepts shelly, I see her mailbox in receipent configuration

You need to place the name with quotation marks, it doesn't like the space

TotalDeletedItemSize : 284.9 MB (298,699,691 bytes)
TotalItemSize : 482.9 MB (506,369,795 bytes)

as the user mentioned size of all emails has 30MB worth of data, but it’s showing 490MB worth of data is filled.

it helped solve the problem
Get-MailboxFolderStatistic
this will show foldersize per folder and should pinpoint where the data is
