Intellisense in SQL Management Studio

I use SQL Server Management Studio 2008R2. Intellisense has always worked.

Another developer and I got new computers, and intellisense hasn't worked since.

The other day, the other developer upgraded his Management studio to 10.50.2500.0, and, voila! intellisense started working for him again.

So, I followed suit and upgraded as well. But intellisense still isn't working.

Every possible option that I've found online to turn intellisense on has been tried, but nothing has worked.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Ugh. You know what? I just realized what happened. It actually did work. The instance of the database I was connected to was a 2005 database. I connected to a 2008 instance and it works.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time on this one.
