Site is being redirected to external Ads URL

Dear experts,
I have a site which is redirecting users to an external URL which has all types of ads. The redirection happens once the page loads so I think its some type of JavaScript.
There is no robots file but it has a sitemap.xml
I have downloaded the site and run it locally, where it behaves in the same way, so it’s not a server issue.
Please take a look at the site below.

This is the first issue of this type and I would really like to know how to approach a problem like this.

Kind regards

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

looks like you were hacked, there's a script in your HTML mark-up, towards the very bottom:

<script src="http://www.tag-cloud-generator.com/ES/js/fx1.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I believe this is the cause of the redirect. Do you see that line in your code, or is that section of the page generated from the database? if so, you'll need to remove it from your database.

black magic? j/k :)

I use Chrome Developer Tools, and under the Network tab, you can see each page request being made, as well as where that request came from. I clicked on the file and saw the output was a redirect to that site.

I've also dealt with this in the past, so I knew where to begin looking.
