Missing items after email migration outlook 2013
Hi Guys,
We had hosted exchange with another provider, and we moved to 0365...now i backed up the existing email in Outlook 2013.
I then created a new profile and then did the import. A lot of items are missing.
I still have access to the old email account, how should i proceed to correct this?

The issue might be that the emails were archived and you need to import the archive.
Since you are migrated, look into if these are archived, using pst import might .......
Check with o365 support to see if they batch ..... But you need to identify where these messages are.

ill attach the pst and see if has the right contents before re--importing.
I really want to avoid duplicates in case it is indeed correct, will the 'replace duplicates' prevent this?

Thought of another thing, double check whether the missing are part of a shared mailbox versus the user's own emails.
It might be simpler to attach and manually transfer what is missing, presumably the emails are part of subfolders concentrated versus being all over the place. The issue might also be that the messages are marked as deleted, but the purge process was not run.........
