Looking for a Joomla template

I have been running a couple of sites on Joomla 1.5, and am now upgrading (manually) to 3.x. The template I used in the old version  was called JBelevate2, and I really liked how it looked. Tried to find a 3.x template with a similar look and feel (but with all the 3.x features), but it seems difficult. I'm now using a template called Lifestyle 2, but I experience the look and feel a lot "harder" (menus all upper case and with very strong colored background), no background image on the page etc.

My question is then - where can I find a 3x template (responsive and with all the nice 3.x features) that looks similar to the JBelevate2?
Attaching screenshots that shows an old and a new site.

Thanks

I would highly recommend the Uber template, from Joomlart.  Try http://www.joomlart.com and search for the Uber template.

Hi Omberli,
if the problem points in your new template "lifestyle2"  are limited to a FEW CHANGES like
1) Remove UPPERCASE from Top menu
2) want a background image
you can do them by making changes in the template CSS. If you can paste the site URL I will check and tell you where to make the changes.

BUT on the other hand if you want to change MANY THINGS in the Lifestyle 2 template, then it will be better you go for different template altogether.
Thanks

Hi Prasadh.
Thanks for your response.
The url for the site is http://www.reverse-therapy.no

The most important things I'd like to change are:
- a clearer text (darker)
- Smaller font for Titles
- Smaller font for menu, and not just upper case
- No dominating color behind the menus
- and, maybe some kind of background image (like in JBelevate2)

Hi Iammontoya,

Tanks for responding.
I took a quick look at the Uber template. Need to check it out some more, but first impression was that a lot of things were pre-defined and a bit complicated to change. Maybe I'm wrong...

I tried to cover all your points in the modifications...

you have a custom.css (which loads last) Add the below code AFTER any existing code in that file.

Hi Prasad.
Thanks for your code.
Did a quick try, but I'm not sure I found the right custom.css files. My hosting company is using  cPanel, and it was hard to find which .css file to edit. Found one in a css-folder under the Lifestyle2 template folder. Applied the code, saved it, but the pages didn't change. Guess it wasn't the right css-file. Will check and investigate more tomorrow.

Hi again, Prasadh.
Did another try and now it works!!
Title font is fine, and menu text is just as I wanted it!

Still a few things....
Menu background color is still there when a menu item has been selected and mouse pointer is moved over there again. You may check it out if you want.
Question: Is it now possible to have a background image. If so - how?

Thanks again. Impressed by your support. Thanks!!
Olaf BerliOwnerAuthor Commented:
Additional question...
How can I change the black background on the logo (logo position) and "logo text" (top4 position)?
I've found where I may change the image and text, but not the background
Very glad for all help received on this!

-Olaf-
Prasadh BaapaatWeb Designer & DeveloperCommented:
Hi Omberli,
you can control the logo background by first style in code below.
second code will remove the greenish color and make it closer to black.

Yes you can add a background to the page... I did not get where you want to add it... if you post a background-image you want I can get idea and suggest what to do.

code for menu changes:
#logowrap {
    background: #000000 none repeat scroll 0% 0%;
}
.navbar-default .navbar-nav > .open > a {
  background: #555 !important;
}

It will look like this after adding above code:
logo header
Olaf BerliOwnerAuthor Commented:
Thanks again.
I found a way to change the background of the logo field in the "Theme Magic" section. Have picked a color that seems better.

When it comes to the menu, it is now fine - but the green backgrounds are there after visiting a menu selection. If you click on "Kom i gang" and select "Priser", you will notice that the next time your mouse pointer is over the "Kom i gang" field, the "Priser" choice has a green background.....?
When it comes to background image, I'll have to browse through my photos.... Will take some time.
Prasadh BaapaatWeb Designer & DeveloperCommented:
good you are happy with the outcome ...  the green color is #477E76  you can find the relevant hover style in megamenu.css make changes to that CSS or create an override in custom.css

thanks,
Prasadh
