Depends on the type of password you set. If you setup the default m$ password, then you need to go to the hotmail or m$ live site and reset the password there. If you didn't use the default m$ password, but rather a local one then do as mentioned above.

Pgoostick will also fail for AD-accounts, or accounts with encryption turned on for the files they own. Changing the password with a reset tool will make the encrypted files useless until you remember the original password again.

It the computer is on a domain, then log in as domain admin and change the password.

As prior comments suggest, please provide details on what the situation is.
If you have access and would like to create a reset password mechanism, check the user control panel  for each local user account for which you want to create a reset password........

Please note that Pgoostick doesn't support UEFI boot. If your computer comes with UEFI, you have to enable legacy/CSM support and disable Secure Boot:
