Windows VMware VCenter 5.1 server unable to generate Extended VCenter diagnostic logs ?

People,

Can anyone here please assist me with the problem that I'm now having unable to Generate vCenter Server log bundle - Extended ?

I'm running VMware VCenter 5.1.0-1064983 on Windows Server 2008 R2.

When I login to the VCenter server using RDP as DOMAIN\Administrator account, it failed with the quick blip of cmd prompt and below text result:

9/7/2015 9:11:49 AM: VMware VirtualCenter Support v5.1.0-1064983. Log started for vcsupport-9-7-2015-9-11.
9/7/2015 9:11:49 AM: Command: C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server\scripts\vc-support.wsf /z /f
9/7/2015 9:11:49 AM: *** Error reading VC config file: Object required
9/7/2015 9:11:49 AM: Gathering VMware VirtualCenter logs..
9/7/2015 9:11:49 AM: Collecting VMware VirtualCenter service logs..

I also have tried to Run As Administrator but somehowe result is the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi ,

Have you verified that you have sufficient space in the C: drive, if possible run the command with additional switch to specify a different diks / partition by adding " /s:output_location "

This command always needs to be run as administrator

also confirm if all the vcenter services are running when you are running this script.
