Dear All,
I want to disable the mail boxes of some users who are not active. After they join back i want to reconnect it back. How can i do it?
Will the users loose their mails if i disable them.
Exchange 2010 & exchange 2013 is installed in our environment

By default, Exchange has 30 days of retention policy to keep the Disconnected mails. So you will need to make sure that you should change the default policy to modify as per your requirment.
Disabling Active directory no causes disconnect mailbox. You can safely disable from users and computers of active directory. Thats prevents unathorized logins and preserve mail on mailboxes.
