Visio custom numbering

Someone had a question back in 2008, with a Visio numbering question around "Autonumbering of Shapes for Functional Decomposition Diagram" - looks like the solution scott offered would work for what I need.

As part of the solution, you attached a sample file, which you noted should be changed from a .txt to a .vsd when saving - I have done that but get an error around ole2.dll files being corrupt or missing. I am working at a client's office so would like to avoid downloading any fixes from the internet if possible - do you know if the issue could be with your file having been created in an earlier version of Vision (I'm using 2010 Standard), or if not that, do you have a 'safe' suggestion on how to update my ole2.dll?

 Thanks a lot in advance!

Kev -- Back in the dark ages of 2008, EE didn't support upload of Visio drawings so it had to be done indirectly with altered file extensions. I'm not sure why changing the file extensions didn't work for you but I'm pretty sure that the file I've attached here is the one I posted in 2008.

Take a look at it and let me know whether it works for your situation or whether you need something else.

One more thing: I know a lot more about Visio now than I did in 2008 so I'm sure there are other ways -- perhaps, even better ways -- to accomplish what you want to do.
