Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Howdy,

this error code 80070002 refers to file not found. Please check the file name; e.g. if you created it with notepad it may as well be phpinfo.php.txt but you can't see the "known " extension in windows explorer.

Also check. event viewer for errors ; it may contain more information.

Appears to been the issue turned on extensions and .txt was appended.

I now am getting internal HTTP server error.

This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.

I think it is an access violation but not sure how to remedy it. Windows is probably picky about which exe files to allow to run as cgi; maybe event viewer will tell you more. Isn't there an error code like c0000002?
