Execute a stored procedure from SSRS 2012

I am generating mailing labels with SSRS and I have a stored procedure which adds records to an events table to record which labels were generated.

I want to execute the stored procedure using the parameters specified for the mailing labels.

The parameters are @BeginningDate and @EndingDate.

The stored procedure is: pWellEventHistoryAddExpirationNotices

I am looking for what code I will use and where I need to put the code.

Thanks,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would implement a stored proc that records what needs to get recorded AND returns the data for the report at the same time.  This way you can just put the stored proc in a dataset and it will get executed whenever the report is run.

I have an article to get you started: Reporting On Data From Stored Procedures (part 1)
