ftp_nlist & ftp_rawlist produce same results?

I'm writing a quick little FTP client for a job - and I'm looking to parse the results from querying a directory.  We don't control the server that it's querying into - that's owned/operated by the client (it's an IIS server).

What I'm experiencing is that ftp_nlist and ftp_rawlist produce exactly the same results.

array(2) {
  string(54) "09-08-15  01:55PM               260187 firstdayvpk.jpg"
  string(48) "09-08-15  02:41PM            556373631 globe.psd"

Open in new window

No extra file information is given.  Is that something to do with the fact it's querying to an IIS server and therefore directory/file information is handled differently?

...and if so...is there another option?  Any suggestions on how to parse these results if that's what I'm stuck with?  :)
