Restore Facebook language to English
Somehow (?) FaceBook language changed to Siberian. Looked at several web sites (Change FaceBook language to English) - none worked, could not find icons/links referred to. Currently using 'translation' facility, not satisfactory - sloooow!

Problem originated Chrome on Dell Laptop, so user could always log into FaceBook when starting Chrome.
With another setup [OS X 10.10.5, Parallels 11, Win 8.1] MSIE 11, control panel show MSIE language as English.
Yet another setup, WIN 7 PC / IE 11 - same problem - all except most of 'Friend's' text is Siberian
Facebook panels (links?) are English, text above each panel is Siberian (?). Generally a confusing mix of languages.
>> Now go into Facebook and your Profile
All FaceBook (except as above) text is Siberian! how do I find Profile? Cannot find English language help!
See attached file to illustrate this problem.

Perhaps Restore to a Prior Point (Action Center) to see if that fixes it.
Perhaps uninstall Chrome and use only Internet Explorer until you sort it out.

1. How to change the language on Facebook?
This tutorial will help you to change the language on Facebook if you never tried to do so:
Open Facebook on your browser : http://www.facebook.com.
In the bottom left of the page click on the language you are using for example: English (U.S).
Then a window will appear to choose the language you want.
Then you will notice the Facebook language will change [**NO** - it was already English(US)] and you can login...
2. https://www.facebook.com/
3. Select English (US) at bottom of this page - no change
4. Select French at bottom of page - no change
This is a most vexing problem desperately need a viable solution. Different browsers/versions/select language make no difference.
I also observe same issue with Firefox 40.0.3 browser on another Mac OS X 10.10.5
I am able to open my personal FaceBook with no language issues.

Thanks for your help ! Not sure how I got to correct (path) page, but your advice got me there.
@MARSPATH - Thanks for the update and you are very welcome.
If Windows is English, then Internet Explorer will be English. Go into IE, View, Encoding and make sure it is set for Unicode and Left to Right.
Now go into Facebook and your Profile and make sure your location is in an English speaking country.
Try these things.
