Shared mailboxes

Hi,

is there any way that when a member of staff reply’s from one of the shared mailboxes that the reply will place an automatic name stamp of the sender on the emails?

Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010 and 2013 is what we use in our environment.

Thanks

Define "automatic name stamp of the sender" ?? Try to be as exact and as detailed as possible.

By default, the other side already knows who sent it. They usually see this in the header:

From "person1" on behalf of "shared mailbox"

By doing nothing, you already have the function you already needed?

name stamp as in- name as in signature.

we have "full access" set, so when a user sends an email he/she selects the mailbox "from" within outlook and the other side recieving it sees the actual mailbox name and not the user?

Thanks

There's no changing FROM field event handler, so it's quite difficult to program it.

The other side will see it as I said before: "From "person1" on behalf of "shared mailbox" (though NON-Outlook users will see it as Person1)

It is indeed not possible (unless some advanced custom plugin is written, which wasn't your request), and that's actually already the answer, even if it's not what you wished for.
