Continuous form autofilling the next record after selecting record from combobox on the first record

Suddenly I guess I don't know how to design a form with a sub-form.  The subform is a continuous form with a combobox.  When a record is selected in the combobox, a field next to the combo box is auto-populated with this code:

Private Sub cboPartNumber_AfterUpdate()
    Me.txtPartNdescription = Me.cboPartNumber.Column(2)
End Sub

Open in new window

But then, and this is strange, the next record in the continuous form gets the field Me.txtPartNdescription populated with the same value as the first one.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The control txtPartNdescription needs to be bound to a field in the recordsource.  If a control in a continuous form is not bound, it will be repeated on each record.
