Mac book pro not printing correctly to network printer

I have a windows network and a user wanted to use his MAC on the network to connect to Shares and printers. The sharing of files is fine but when the user goes to print say an excel document the only thing that prints is the tabs (Border) but no content. I thought it might be a printer driver issue so I changed printers to a different network printer and got the same results. Now I am not a MAC guru so I am having some difficulty finding how to fix this issue. Any suggestions. The OS the MAC is running is OS X.

There are a few things to check within the Excel document.
- Check the page setup to make sure you have selected the proper page size and layout.
-Check within the Print dialogue to make sure you have Active Sheets or Entire Workbook selected within Print What see attached for screenshotEXCEL_PrintWhat_PrintDialog.pdf

Sorry i left this question open for so long without updating. This issue is with a customer that I visit once a month so I will be a little while before I can test again. I will pass on the information to the user and see what happens and will update then when I have more info. Thank you in advance for providing some solutions.

Installing drivers made for the MAC solved the problem.
