Citrix 6.5 Published Application not showing to end user

Hi Experts,

I have set up a published app in AppCentre, but this is not showing to any end users at all.. not sure if there is a problem, or I am just being a newbie noob.

My aim, is to configure a published desktop application which is just Internet Explorer... but prompts to log in.

So a user can log in on their profile, and have a desktop shortcut to the published application, which just prompts for credentials.. then opens an internet explorer browser.

Reason.. I have a certificate that can only be installed under 1 user profile.. but different people need to use it.. while they are logged in as themselves..

Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When you publish the app did you added users or users group to access the published applicate? If not add the same under application properties -> users.

Did you add the certificate on the server(s) via Certificate Manager?  Based on the scenario you've described, you'll want to add the cert as a computer cert.  If you run into issues and/or if the cert is really only applicable to a single user, you may have to rethink that.

Most commonly, you'll install the cert as a Third-Party Certificate.

This is due to the citrix environment not being complete.. ie, storefront, netscaler and receiver not configured.
