Cisco Model 2504 setup

I have been asked to setup a Cisco 2504 Wireless controller with a Cisco Aironet 700 Series (AIR-CAP702I-A_K9) access point. When I got to the site I was handed a postcard size set of instructions. I connected to the 2504 using a browser and following the few instructions I went through the setup wizard. After the reboot I have never been able to connect to the 2504 using a browser. I can connect and change settings using the console cable and Putty. I need some simple instructions (if they exist) to get this set up and running. I need some basic instruction. I would rather not say "I was unable to.."  I would rather say "With help from Experts Exchange..."

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would have added more categories but none of them seemed to match what I needed.

Hi,
the following is a detailed guide with working example:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/2500-series-wireless-controllers/113034-2500-deploy-guide-00.html

If you already succeeded to configure and access administration webpage and you lost in on next reboot, you probably have not clicked on "Save Configuration" on top.

hope this helps

I have the 2504 and the AIR-CAP702I-A_K9 connected to a router. I have web access to the 2504. The AIR-CAP702I-A_K9 I have been unable to access though a browser. I have a command line interface setup and I have access this way. I see it has been given an ip address and I can watch its progress. Briefly the 2504 showed it but then it disappeared. It tries to communicate with the 2504 but fails. I have done no setup to the AIR-CAP702I-A_K9. I have read much but I have not found how to do this. It gets to a point and asks for a user then password but these have not been setup. I have tried the default password 'Cisco' but this does not work either. If I could find the setup routine maybe I could make some progress.

I have access to the WLC through web and CLI. What I need is to setup the Access Point.

I found my problem. I had the wrong country code in the WLC. When I changed this it all went to working.
