I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, there are a few ways, & some variations will be dependent on which particular version of MS-Excel you are using.

I will assume at least version 2007 (i.e. MS-Excel 2007), I will also assume column 1 is [A], column 2 is [ B ], 3 is [C], & 4 is [D], for ease of reference below.

Place this formula in cell [B1]:

The copy cell [B1] it to your MS-Windows clipboard, & paste down column [ B ] to cell [B9].

Please see the attachment as an example.
