Overcoming GMail 2000 Sending Limit

We all know the GMail sending limit is 2,000 a day per account; however, the forwarding limit is 10,000.
I was wondering if I could setup an IIS SMTP Relay server on 2012 to act as a forwarder through the account to overcome the 2,000 limit.
I setup IIS 6 on the server and email is sent fine, but it still hits the limit. I'm sure it because authentication still has to be configured in the relay setup. Anonymous fails to connect and send.

Anyone know if such a setup is possible?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you need to configure gmail as smtp relay service (providing your static IP address on gmail and not authenticate at all)

(long document so read the following section: To route your outbound mail through Google Apps using the SMTP relay service setting:)

If you still hit it, you have to use a 3rd party application which is like

they offer some free volume er month
