"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you are running pro then you are eligible for the free upgrade. Simply download the media creation tool, create media, then run the upgrade or mass deploy using existing tools like SCCM or MDT.

If you have enterprise, win 10 enterprise requires active software assurance. If you let SA expire, enterprise is *not* eligible for a free upgrade. You'd have to downgrade/reinstall 8 pro and then upgrade to 10 pro, not enterprise.

@ Seth I am looking at the software assurance page and under Benefit I don't see anything thing relating to windows 10 .... 24x7 problem resolution support, E Learning, Home use, ..... and so on but nothing with windows 10 am I looking in the wrong place?

@Luis this option looks like I have to do a reload I really wanted to just do an upgrade to avoid reloading everything

Also the systems are running windows 8 not 8.1 it will not allow them to upgrade to 8.1 with the licensing they have ....
