Allow Limited Access Users on Windows 7 Pro workstations to enable/disable the network adapters
I have workstations in the field that are used by limited access users. In the event of an Internet failure I need to have them disable the LAN and enable the WIFI adapter to connect to a shared 4G MIFI device. The process is perfect if the user is an admin which I can not allowed here.
I have tried a few different changes in the local GPO (No domain management here) with no luck. There is some GPO settings that say that they work on older OS but did not have luck setting here. I have reverted the GPO settings at this point.
I would be happy if there was a registry key or so that I could change with a script and modify the key permissions to allow the user specifically to do. Open to any suggestions on how to accomplish this. I just can not allow the users to have local admin rights in this case.

Thank you very much McKnife. Can I wish I know that before I got into the GPO testing.
Worked like a charm and does exactly what I was hoping for.
