How below rewrite and proxy rule works?

I have below in my apache config entry:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^/app-da/view$ /app-da/index.html [L]

ProxyPass /app-da/view disablereuse=On retry=2 timeout=120
ProxyPassReverse /app-da/view

Does it mean first rewrite rule apply then once the URL is changed then does ProxyPass apply on changed URL or original url?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use the P flag on the RewriteRule to have mod_proxy serve matching requests.
mod_proxy would work with the changed URL.
