Windows Server 2012

Dear All

I have a server running VM, the client gave  me some password and they don't seem to work. The DC seems to be in a state of Tombstone and I am at a bit of a loss as the previous IT engineer hasn't and wont share any information.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As far as I am aware, I have not documentation on the environment just trying to figure it all out!  Thanks in advance for the help.

And your domain is working? Single DC can not enter tombstone state. You need to reset password.

This is what is running, anyway to confirm is there is more than 1 DC? I don't know the environment but from the naming convention I am guessing. Screenshot of Vsphere

On the Domain Controller open Active Directory User and Computer and click on Domain Controllers OU. It would give you information about all the Domain Controllers that you have in your Environment.

In addition to that you can also run the command "dsquery /servers" or "dsquery /server" (not sure about the exact.. you can check them). This would also give you the information about the total number of domain controllers in your environment.
