I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

you have to make a full backup files and database.
then copy the file in a folder of your apache root this could be called
www htdocs

then you will need to upload the database using phpmyadmin or similare tool is the easiest way.

then edit the configuration file to change  name user name and password database
plus other settings like paths ect.

There is a tool for migration (this may help)
