Simple Mailbox Database removal issue - Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 migration
Hi Guys,
We are following the Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 migration procedure.
Mailboxes have been migrated to the new Exchange 2013 server already and all users are up and running.
Now we are following the guide here for decommissioning old Exchange 2007 box - http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/07/25/part-4-step-by-step-exchange-2007-to-2013-migration.aspx and the first step of Mailbox database removal is Get-MailboxDatabase | Remove-MailboxDatabase
I typed this command in Exchange management Shell and it seems to be sitting on the same prompt for 2 hours and not moving. Our mailbox Database .edb file is 150GB in size so its not that massive either.
Seems like there is no way to check progress of this. Can someone please help. Attaching snapshots of Exchange management shell as well as Exchange management console showing mailbox database status
