Moving application license server to another

Dear experts,

I need help I have a license server that is hosting ArcGIS network licenses and I want to move it to another server. I have built a new server and just want to know what's next. The desktops in the environment are not using any environment variables and I want this done quickly.

I need to follow proper procedure so the production environment is not disturbed and also the old license server and the new one still remains accessible. The old server will have other licenses when I move the ArcGIS license.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm not particularly familiar with this product, but does this article cover the migration of the license server's contents, or just the license on a particular workstation? It sounds like it's the set of steps you want, since you already have the license server configured in the new location:

http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/install_guides/license_manager_guide/index.html#//00790000002p000000.htm

However, a second article on their site seems to have the same process, but makes a note that their support needs to be involved as well:
