"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you checked to see whether any other services have failed (Event Viewer).  Check what services the Computer Browser Service depends on and ensure that they are running properly, then cross check their dependencies.

I not neglecting this solution.  Right now I have given the user the informaotin about the SFC /scannow.  I await the outcome from the company owner.
Once I see that the sfc solution works I will update.

The restore points did not work. (One of the first option I tried)

As for the Services that are dependant on the computer browser, I have not yet reviewed all the different services assoiciated to the compuoter browser.

I will update once I get a confirmed conclusion.

Thank you
