Windows 2012 R2 Storage Spaces

I am setting up Storage Space for the first time and have a stupid question..

-I already created my storage pool and vdisk. My goal is to then have remote servers access the server as a iscsi target.  I am assuming I need to install the role for this but how to I assign were server can access a vdisk

If you use iscsi, you need to add the role, yes.

To add the disk you need to add the initiators.

Yes you have to install iscsi role on server.

Then find iscsi on windows server. Enter ip of your storage and click connect.

you will see all luns configured on your storage.
