"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What kind of DFS are you talking about? There are two kinds, DFS Namespace and DFS Replication. Only Windows Server can participate in DFS Replication. For DFS Namespace, any server for which you have a client protocol stack can be used. Your ReadyNAS should be talking SMB, which is what all Windows uses by default. Though rarely used, you can use other file sharing protocols as DFS targets such as NFS, NCP, etc.

DFS Replication that we are using on 12 different servers between areas.
I setted up the NAS with the DFS of Samba but would like to incorpore it to my set up like others...

Samba has no DFS Replication support right now. If you want DFS Replication,  use Windows Server, not a NAS box.
