SharePoint 2013 with 3rd Party Video hosting
I have videos on Vimeo that I am trying to get to show up in search results in SharePoint, and I am not having much luck.
I want these videos to be able to play properly on any platform/device, which is why I went to a 3rd party video hosting solution (Vimeo) after not having any success with hosting/streaming directly from SharePoint.
So I need users to be able to search these videos, click on them in search results, and have the video start to play. The one other thing though is, these are proprietary videos so they are locked down, only able to be seen/embedded via our SharePoint site.
In SharePoint, when I setup the content source/crawl rules, no matter which option I choose (search external content with username and password, get cookie from site to authenticate, etc) I get a different error.
Does anyone have any experience with what is the best way to deliver hosted videos from within SharePoint?
