Access Data loses paragraph formating

I have a note field that I'm pulling from Microsoft Access.
The data in the original database is formatted with paragraph returns.  I can see them when I paste the data into MicrosoftC--Users-Drelinger.D179434-Desktop-C.JPG Word.
But when I display the data on an html page, it has no paragraph formatting.

Original Data:
IT4, HI VIS, 3YD, FORKS, 3RD LDR VALVE, L3 BS, RIDE CONT, CAMERA
(12) FULL 194  DAYS 8/31/15
HOLD T/O TYRINHAM MILLER 04-27-2015
RENT UEL ANDY LAMPSON
HOLD KING MATERIALS ANDY LAMPSON...

But shows in html as
IT4, HI VIS, 3YD, FORKS, 3RD LDR VALVE, L3 BS, RIDE CONT, CAMERA (12) FULL 194 DAYS 8/31/15 HOLD T/O TYRINHAM MILLER 04-27-2015 RENT UEL ANDY LAMPSON HOLD KING MATERIALS ANDY LAMPSON

Is there some way I can maintain the formatting ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, you have to use the html <tags> to format the text.

html, does not recognize the carriage return or new line.

try something like this in a query

Notes:replace([noteield], chr(13) & chr(10), "</ br>")

copy the result and use in html
