networked printer

I have a networked printer (HP OfficeJet 6500).  the prnter was accidentally deleted from one of the network computers and now it won't printer from the other computer.  Both computers have Windows 7 and Office 2013.   A test print works but no documents will print.  I tried reinstalling the HP software for the printer but it requires XP, which I no longer use.  what do I do to get this printer working again??  thanks!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Go to the HP site below

Use option 2 and get the driver for your system. It appears to support up to Windows 10. Should work.
