sql express

Hi you experts
If i point my application to sql express allowed in a normal computer , it allow me to connect to several computer as if a sql server 2012 server edition?

I have SQL Express 2005 and 2008 and I can connect to them from any computer on my network that has the drivers installed.  You do have to allow remote connections in the SQL Configuration Manager and have user names and passwords.

Yes, Express version run as Standard version, while it has a size limitation of 10 GB.

SQL Server Express Edition do not has any kind of connectivity limitations.
Limitations are in database size (10GB), CPU (only 1 processor) and features availability, like you can't use SQL Server Agent, Database Snapshot, AlwaysOn, etc...
