Wcf service

dear All

while publishing a wcf server and trying to open it fro teh browser i am getting the below error:

The content type text/html; charset =utf-8 of the response message
Does not match the content type of the binding (text/xml;charset = utf-8).if using a custom
Encoder, be sure that the isContentTypeSupported method is implemented properly.
The first 1024 bytes of the response were:’

can anyone help me

Kindly check the proxy settings on the server or the system from where ur running. Also make open the wcf service url in browser and see what results are running.

And if you try from another computer?

Are you trying from a mobile device? If so make sure to use IP address of server and not BIOS name.
no i am not trying from a mobile device it is a just a nomenclature
also if i try the below url

That is fine. Does it show the WSDL "below" though? The WSDL is an XML file and your browser realises this. Just that there is no stylesheet for this XML file to prettify it.

If it shows the WSDL, then we can move onto the next thing. Which is understanding where exactly you were getting that first error.
