"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

I think you need to create a new group or add the appropriate users into the system users group (within SSRS console). Have a look at this article which details the step by step procedure https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2793/sql-server-reporting-services-2012-permissions/

Hope that helps!

You can easily configure SSRS manager to sql server. following steps will be included
Create a URL for the Report Server Web service.

Create a URL for Report Manager.

Set advanced URL properties to define additional URLs.

Hi,

By looking at the screen shot, In the first screen shot (working) shows that you have added the user properties to log on to all computers in the network which allowed the users to access the link.

The second screen shot shows that the user has been limited to certain computers to logon and you are unable to access the link except from the machine which added to logon.

This is the normal behaviour as it should be. Not sure why you are trying to limit the user to login to machines? that's too limiting it from AD?

Have you changed anything in group policy? I.e - Edit Default domain policy>>Computer Configuration>>Windows Settings>>Security Settings>>Local Policies>>User Rights Assignments>>Allow log on locally or something similar settings?

You shouldn't touch in AD rights. You need to give permissions in SSRS website and database. Did you do that?
