tomorrow we need to send a newsletter to some clients .. thousand+

managers said we must to go to each account and get the email manually !! :/ because his access to admin features / export are restricted :/

there must be some script we could run to get all the emails? so we could copy paste them onto email broadcast ...

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can get this information through a report. Use filters to narrow down to the correct accounts you want to reach.
Ask your admin or sales operations if they could export this data for you or give you export privileges.

What are you using for an email client? Sending to a large list really shouldn't be done with a mail merge or bcc. I'd suggest a free tool like mail chimp that can connect with your salesforce and send emails to them without the copy and paste.

You have probably already resolved this, as this question was asked last year. Within Salesforce, you can create marketing lists by--as your admin suggests--manually selecting accounts for this.

The easiest way to build a list for export is to setup a View filter that match certain criteria, like who the lead is assigned to (if your company manages leads that way) or by territory or by another demographic.

Certainly a standard or custom report is one way to extract customer names and email addresses (simply add those fields to the report columns).

However, if your intent is to email these clients. Salesforce does come packaged with either ExactTarget (known known as Marketing Cloud) and Pardot (vanilla-flavored email marketing and marketing automation). If you do use Pardot and have Admin control over that, you can create a matching field in Pardot that picks up the same information as what you see in Salesforce for your broadcasting needs.

If you wanted to be extra fancy, you can also setup Pardot email templates so that sales, business development, or customer success users can send these templates through Salesforce. Without admin access, your options are really limited.
